Shape of You famed singer Ed Sheeran recently opened up about the cyberbullying once again, which led him to delete his Twitter account in 2017. The singer recalled the trolls who fat-shamed him and called him ‘chunky’.
“I never had insecurities and people pointed them out — your brain starts thinking about them. It all stems from other people’s insecurities,” said the 28-year old while talking to Mirror.
“So many people have things they’re insecure about so it makes them feel better to point out someone else’s,” he added.
“Because half the people that would point out that I’m fat are probably fat themselves,” explained Sheeran who has now lost a lot of weight.
However, his physical transformation came on the back of his wife Cherry’s motivation who helped him set an exercise routine and have balanced diet. Earlier, Sheeran says he could eat for two people and had a huge appetite.
“My friends used to call me Two Dinners Teddy,” the singer candidly spoke.
