Tariq Jameel Paracha, veteran actor-producer and TV director, passed away in Lahore.
The sad news of his demise was confirmed by his nephew in a tweet.
Tariq Jameel Paracha started his career initially at PTV as a set designer and went on to become a successful producer and director for PTV’s Karachi centre.
His first drama was a blockbuster hit serial “Aanch,” starring Shafi Mohammad Shah & Shugufta Ijaz.
Paracha’s skill and hard work earned him a renowned place in the Pakistani showbiz industry.
His famous works as an actor include Dil Momin, Saat Pardon Mein, Pyaar Naam Ka Diya, Udaan and Mohabbat Chhor Di Mein.
