Pillion Riding Banned in Karachi - OyeYeah News
Sindh government has banned pillion riding in the metropolis for a month.
An official notification in this regard has been issued by the Sindh Home Department on Sunday.
According to the notification, women, senior citizens and media persons will be exempted from the ban on pillion riding. Children under the age of 12 are also exempted from the prohibition.
Meanwhile, personnel of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs)/security agencies in uniform, employees of essential services and journalists subject to showing their press card/service card.
“The additional inspector general of police in Karachi has conveyed that there are some reports that miscreants and disgruntled elements may disturb the peace and create law and order problem in Karachi,” read the notification.
