Nawab of Junagarh Muhammad Jahangir Khanji passed away in Karachi aged 67 on Thursday

His funeral prayer will be offered at 3:30 pm on Friday at the Junagadh House in Karachi.

As reported, He was under treatment at a private hospital for the last several days.

The Nawab of Junagadh was admitted to the infirmary with complaints of having lung problems.

But later he was diagnosed with cancer.

Khanji, the grandson of Nawab Mahabat Khan who signed an agreement of accession to Pakistan in October 1947, was a staunch advocate of the Junagarh issue.

Junagarh was one of the princely states that opted to ally with Pakistan before partition, but India occupied the territory in November 1947.
