Pakistan to celebrate Eid ul Adha on July 21; Zil Hajj moon not sighted!
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Saturday that the Zil Hajj moon was not sighted in the country and Eid ul Adha will fall on July 21.
The first of Zil Hajj will fall on Monday, July 12, 2021, while Eid ul Adha will be observed on Wednesday, July 21.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee met today for the sighting of the crescent of Zil Hajj 1442 AH presided by Chairperson Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, at the Met complex of the Pakistan Meteorological Department in Karachi.
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has directed provinces to ensure the strict implementation of the coronavirus standard operating procedures on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.
The NCOC has also issued special instructions for the occasion of Eidul Azha to ascertain that the number of COVID-19 cases does not escalate.
