Footballer Paulo Dybala has confirmed that he’s fully recovered from COVID-19.
It was confirmed in late March that Dybala caught the disease by showing no symptoms and went into voluntary home isolation.
The confirmation of Juventus forward’s recovery from the coronavirus was made by the Italian Serie A club on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old player tested negative for the virus after undergoing a double check, Juventus said in a statement on their website.
“Paulo Dybala performed, as per protocol, a double-check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for coronavirus-COVID 19, which came back with negative results. The player has, therefore, recovered and will no longer be subjected to the home isolation regime,” says the statement.
The Argentinian star thanked his followers on social media for their support.
“Many people talked in the past weeks … but I can finally confirm that I am healed. Thank you once again for your support and my thoughts on all who are still suffering from it. Take care!,” he said in a tweet.
