A Professor of Islamia College Peshawar was shot dead by a watchman at the campus.
As reported Dr Bashir Ahmad, professor at the English department at Islamia College University, Peshawar was shot dead by one of the college’s watchmen on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the watchman opened fire on the professor over an argument, killing him on the spot.
Professor and guard also had a scuffle in the past over some issues, as reported.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident as the watchman escaped the scene.
As reported, raids are being carried out to arrest the murder suspect.
The news has left Professor Bashir Ahmad’s students and the rest of the country in shock.
