Six pilgrims returning from Iran have been abducted in Isa Zai neighbourhood of Panjgur district in Balochistan by unidentified men, an official confirmed Sunday.
The assistant commissioner of Panjgur, Amjad Soomro told that the kidnappers had taken six men to an undisclosed location in a double cabin vehicle, while left two women behind, he said.
Reportedly, the abductees are the residents of Karachi’s Malir district and they illegally entered Balochistan from Iran.
Meanwhile, the local administration have allowed the two women to leave, who were left behind by the abductors, assistant commissioner said adding that the law enforcement agencies have launched an operation to recover the kidnapped people.
