UK Parliamentary member raises voice against atrocities in India

Khalid Mahmood, a member of the UK Parliament raised his voice over the ongoing atrocities against Muslims in India’s capital, calling for an official reaction from the UK government.

Mahmood pleaded the Leader of the House of the British Parliament to have a detailed discussion on the atrocities being displayed in India by BJP extremists and called for an official statement from the UK government regarding the matter.

“Delhi has been burning at the hands of Hindu extremism, 24 people are dead so far and hundreds are injured under this extreme violence,” said Mahmood.

“The Indian government has enacted this, which has also produced concentration camps where people will be placed who have lived in the country for years.

“Communal violence is taking place against Muslims, day in and day out so many beatings, torture and deaths taking on the streets, as well as the oppression of the Kashmiri people,” he said.

Leader of the House Jacob Rees-Mogg, while reacting to Mahmood’s statement,  asked him to raise his fears in next month’s sitting saying that they were not only concerned about Christians but other minorities as well.

A recent clip of a Muslim family petrified by BJP- backed-terrorist mob hiding on their rooftop as their community was attacked, has shaken the world.

Delhi death toll hits 32 amid violence

Violence in parts of Delhi has claimed 32 lives in sectarian riots, police said Thursday.

Hundreds and thousands of Muslims, as well as Hindus in India, are protesting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s citizenship law, which triggered months of demonstrations that turned deadly in December.
