Horror thriller Conjuring is back with its third installment and director James Wan teased the fans with the first look of the film on social media. Featuring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson who will be reprising the roles of Ed and Loraine Warren, the video is a short introduction of what ‘Conjuring: The Devil Made me Do it’ will be.
“One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense,” the synopsis of the film says.
“I really wanted The Conjuring 3 to get away from the whole haunted house set-up of the first two Conjuring films,” says Wan who himself appears in the video.
“It should be more on a whole different level, something that we’ve never explored before in the Conjuring world,” he added.
Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is scheduled to hit the theaters on June 4, 2021.
