Mehwish Hayat claps back at Tarek Fatah for maligning polio campaign by posting a film clip
Mehwish Hayat has given a befitting reply to Pakistani-Canadian author and journalist Tarek Fatah, known for hitting at Pakistan often on twitter.
This time he took to twitter posting a clip from Pakistani hit film Load Wedding and tried to malign the polio campaign.
Mehwish responded to his twitter post saying, “Thank u for giving ur 2 cents on this but pls first verify the source b4 posting next time. It’s a scene from my movie” load wedding”, the polio worker is me & that woman an actress. Through the film we were raising awareness of the issue. Glad 2 see our performances were so convincing”.

Seems like Mr. Tarek Fatah couldn’t handle the response to his tweet, and took it down. His tweet is no longer available. But the internet doesn’t let the proof slideway that easily ”
The posted clip was actually from the 2018 Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat starrer, ‘Load Wedding’.

And the fellow Twitterati are not letting this twitter spat slide away:
@MehwishHayat it seems Tarek Fatah is running out of bullets. He has always been a liar, but now getting more and more desperate..sign of last convulsions.
