Pak Suzuki Motor extends shutdown of bike, car plants till July 15

ak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has extended its current round of non-production days (NPDs) due to an inventory shortage.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC)  has extended the shutdown of its bike, and car plants till July 15!

The decision has been made amid a persistent shortage of parts and accessories which was communicated in a statement released to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.

“Due to continued shortage of inventory level, the management of the company has decided to extend the shutdown of automobile and motorcycle plant till July 15, 2023,” the PSMC company secretary notified.

The company on June 19, had informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regarding the closure of its automobile and motorcycle plant from June 22 to July 8.

The company already kept its motorcycle plant closed for five days at the start of June.

While the automobile plant also remained closed in May for eight days along with the bike plant.
