England cricket team arrives in Pakistan after 17 years to play Test series

The three match test series will start from December 1.

England cricket team has arrived in Pakistan on Sunday after 17 years to play Test series!

The English team headed by Ben Stokes reached Islamabad late at night.

The visiting team will rest on Sunday and will have practice sessions at the Rawalpindi Stadium from tomorrow.

English team will play Test matches in Pakistan for the first time after 17 years. The last was played in 2005.

As the English test squad landed in Islamabad, Ben Stokes said hello to Pakistan in a tweet, leading to warm welcome by Pakistani cricket fans on Twitter timeline.

Prior to his arrival in Pakistan, Ben Stokes said: “I have never been there in Pakistan I’m quite interested to see what the security lark is like. we know the subcontinent feels about cricket. it’s a massive part of their life and I’m looking forward to it.”
