Turgut Alp requests Shahid Afridi to teach him cricket

Turkish actor Cengiz Coşkun aka Turgut Alp, who plays the role of close friend of Ertugrul in the mega-hit series Diriliş: Ertuğrul, has said that he would be visiting Pakistan soon after the pandemic is over.

During an interview with ARY News show in Pakistan on Eid-ul-Adha, the 38-year-old Turkish star made the revelation about his visit to the country. Former Pakistani captain Shahid Khan Afridi was also part of the interview.

The host Waseem Badami, during the show, asked Coşkun about the huge success of Ertugrul in Pakistan after Prime Minister Imran Khan recommended it and the subsequent decision of dubbing it in Urdu for local audiences, the Turkish actor thanked PM Imran Khan.

He was further asked  if he ever thought Ertugrul will be such a massive hit in Pakistan to which he replied that when the series’ team started working on the it, a number of people said that you cannot finish this project but the it not only became a reality but a massive hit too.

Coşkun added that the series’ success in Pakistan was more than something he ever expected.

Later, Turkish actor also revealed that he is receiving a lot of marriage proposals from Pakistani girls but he had to turn them all down because there’s someone already in his heart.

The actor further requested Shahid Afridi to teach him cricket whenever he visits Pakistan in the near future.
