Hajj pilgrims will not get Zamzam water for free, they will have to buy it!

From this year, pilgrims will not get Zamzam water for free, but they will have to buy it.

According to the sources, every pilgrim will get only 5 litres bottle of Zamzam water on reaching back to Pakistan and will have to pay RS 1114 per person which is 15 Saudi Riyals for Zamzam water.

Sources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that 896,000 litres of Zamzam water will be provided to Pakistani pilgrims.

According to the sources, the price of Zamzam water is being charged in advance from 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims.

It was reported earlier that 179,210 pilgrims from Pakistan would perform Hajj this year.

The estimated Hajj 2023 cost for the northern region — which includes Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Rahim Yar Khan, and Sialkot — is Rs1,175,000.

While the estimated cost for the southern region is Rs1,165,000.

The pre-Hajj operation by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start on May 21 and continue till August 12 during which the national flag carrier would lift 38,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
