“Dora the Explorer” gets a live-action version!
Get ready for a new level of an adventure, as ‘Dora the Explorer’ is coming back to the screens but this time it is going to be a real one! Dora the Explorer now gets a live action film.
Dora was the famous children program which aired on Nickelodeon for 172 episodes from 2000 to 2014. It was based on a young American Latina who used to go on various quests accompanied by her monkey.
The news was shared by Paramount Pictures, through a tweet that contained image with the message, “Check out the first look of @IsabelaMoner as #DoraTheExplorer!”

Actress Isabela Moner will be performing as the world famous character of Dora, in “Dora the Explorer”, which is an upcoming live-action adventure film. The new Dora can be seen wearing her signature clothing with a bag pack, and also has the famous haircut.
It is being reported that action director Michael Bay’s company Platinum Dunes will be producing the film, which is set for an August 2019 release. It was earlier in May, while talking to media Isebela Moner announced about her new character, “I’m honored and excited to bring Dora to life. I grew up watching the show, and for me, especially as a Latina, Dora was an amazing role model, she is a strong, adventurous and fun-loving girl. I can’t wait to put on the backpack and begin her next adventure”.
