Nawaz Sharif reaches Dubai en route to Pakistan
A day earlier, legal hurdles in Nawaz Sharif's smooth return were removed as he was granted protective bail in two graft cases
Nawaz Sharif touched down in Dubai on Friday evening ahead of returning to Pakistan.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is set to return to Pakistan on October 21 (Saturday) after spending four years in self-exile in London.
The three-time prime minister’s arrival in Dubai saw a few hours of delay as he was reported to have been held up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for an important meeting.
Nawaz Sharif received a “special protocol” upon his arrival at the Dubai airport.
As reported, Nawaz Sharif will land in Islamabad via Fly Dubai flight no FZ-4525 at one o’clock in the afternoon. He will then move to Lahore.
PML-N leader will be accompanied by around 150 people on his return to Pakistan in a chartered plane.
As reported, several journalists, politicians, and activists have booked tickets on the same flight for Pakistan’s return.
A day earlier, legal hurdles in Nawaz Sharif’s smooth return were removed as he was granted protective bail in two graft cases while his arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case was suspended by an accountability court.
