Pakistan on Wednesday conducted a successful test flight of the modern weapon system Fatah-II!
The Fatah-II weapon system is capable of engaging targets with high precision up to a range of 400 kilometres, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The multi-launch rocket system gave the Pakistan Army the capability of precision target engagement deep in enemy territory, the ISPR added.
“The flight test was witnessed by senior officers from tri-services and dedicated scientists and engineers,” ISPR notified.
Following the successful test, President Dr Arif Alvi, interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir congratulated participating troops and scientists.
