PTI leaders and social media team are reported to be in a face-off over criticism of Shahid Afridi.
The controversy started when a graphic on social media claimed that Shahid Afridi had called for an example to be made out of people involved in the May 9 attacks, leading him to be the target of trolls.
As reported, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat accused the party’s social media teams of running propaganda against the former cricketer.

On the other hand, PTI’s social media activist Azhar Mashwani responding to Sher Afzal Marwat’s statement about Shahid Afridi said, “Marwat Sahib! This sentence of yours is reprehensible and should be deleted immediately, do not respond or comment on internal party discussions on social media.”
“Sher Afzal Marwat, You should avoid such action,” he added.
