Ramadan crescent sighted in Saudi Arabia
The Ramadan crescent has been sighted in Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening.
Monday will mark the first day of Ramadan 1445 AH, in Saudi Arabia, the Supreme Court announced on Sunday evening after confirmation of the moon sighting.

As reported, the crescent moon was sighted in Sudair and Al-Hariq.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset perform Taraweeh prayers, and increase their good deeds including charitable giving.
The Saudi Supreme Court had appealed to those capable of sighting the crescent—using either the naked eye or binoculars—to come forth with their observations.
