Shehryar Afridi sent to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand

On June 17, the District and Sessions Court Islamabad handed over Shehryar Afridi to the police on two-day physical remand.

Shehryar Afridi has been sent to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand on Monday.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehryar Afridi was presented before the District and Sessions Court Islamabad on Monday.

Shahryar Afridi was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate Naveed Khan on completion of physical remand.

The court took up the hearing of the case filed against PTI leader Shehryar Afridi on the incidents of May 9 at the Islamabad I-9 Police station.


The court rejected the police’s plea seeking Shahryar Afridi’s further physical remand and sent him to Adiala jail on 14-day judicial remand.

The police requested Shahryar Afridi’s physical remand for another 3 days.

On June 17, the District and Sessions Court Islamabad handed over Shehryar Afridi to the police on two-day physical remand.
