Six people including ASI killed in a firing incident in Neodero, Larkana

Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (Rted) Maqbool Baqar took notice of casualties during firing in the Neodero.

Six people including ASI were killed and five others were injured in a firing incident between two groups near Nodero Bypass Larkana on Sunday.

As reported, a fight broke out between two groups over the matter of voting in Larkana’s Nodero. The clash turned violent, with indiscriminate use of sticks and firing by both sides.

According to the police, as soon as the incident was reported, the Mahota police arrived at the site. However, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Sultan Shah was killed including five other people.

Whereas, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bashir Ahmed Shar and Constable Saddam Hussain were among the wounded.

According to the police, one critically injured person has been shifted to Karachi for medical treatment.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the firing incident in the Larkana district.

In a statement released by the PPP Media Cell, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed deep sorrow over the tragic killing of six people, including an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) from the Mahotta Police Station.

“My heart goes out to the families of all the deceased persons, including the martyred ASI, and I pray for the speedy recovery of the DSP and others who were injured in the incident,” Bilawal stated in the release.

The PPP chief demanded that the perpetrators of the incident be swiftly brought to the book.

On the other hand, Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (Rted) Maqbool Baqar took notice of casualties during firing in the Neodero.

Caretaker CM directed the IGP Sindh to present an immediate report of the incident.
