The footage from International Space Station shows powerful storm moving over Arabian Sea

UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has captured Cyclone Biparjoy from space!

Sultan Al Neyadi, the UAE astronaut, is currently based at the International Space Station. He captured a glimpse of the cyclone through his lens and urged the people to stay safe amidst the storm.

“We are currently flying over Arabian Peninsula, specifically UAE. We are currently attempting to capture photographs of the eye (center) of the storm or the cyclone.”

“We will maintain the downward orientation of the camera. While using the high zoom, I will capture regular photos using my camera,” he said.

The astronaut claimed that the ISS can assist experts on Earth in weather monitoring.

“Are you seeing these thunderstorms, but now I can see the center of the cyclone. But these are the pictures you see of the Arabian Sea. This is our coverage for today. We shall share these captured photos with you,” Sultan Al Neyadi concluded.
