LHC orders to hold the election of Chairman PCB in 22 days

Lahore High Court ordered to hold the election of the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 22 days.

While delivering the decision on the case of appointment of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Lahore High Court ordered to complete the formation of the Board of Governors in 15 days and conduct the election of Chairman PCB in the next 7 days.

In the written judgment issued by the Lahore High Court, it was said that with the change of government, PCB issues come to the courts, and the state is interfering in the institutions, which creates instability and uncertainty in the country.

On June 22, a law was issued against the notification of the change of the Board of Governor,  the notification of the formation of the management committee issued on July 5 is valid, and the federal government has the authority to form the management committee.
