This is Djokovic’s third Grand Slam title of the year having won the Australian Open and French Open with his only blemish coming in an epic five-set defeat by Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final.
Djokovic clearly has his eyes set on more accomplishments in tennis.
Djokovic said, “Occasionally asking myself, why do I need this still at this stage after all I have done, you know? How long do I want to keep going? I do have these questions in my head, of course”
On the other hand, Coco Gauff claimed the US Open ladies title with an incredible comeback victory over Aryna Sabalenka.
The 19-year-old beat Aryna Sabalenka by 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
