Saba Qamar’s is a name that needs no introduction! The woman, an epitome of grace and talent, stands tall in the face of all adversaries and all controversies. Saba Qamar is an asset of Pakistan, one we cannot afford to lose.
A resident of Gujranwala, Punjab, Saba Qamar made her television debut with PTV’s Main Aurat Hoon.
From there she moved to Bint-e-Adam but it was her character Surraiya that brought her into the limelight and landed Saba her first Pakistan Media Award for best actress.
Saba Qamar has various characters to her credit and has each of her drama memorable with her talent. Pani Jaisa Pyaar, Tinkay and Maat happen to be her best plays.
Qamar made her Bollywood debut with Hindi Medium and earned critical acclaim for her acting across the border as well.
Back home she recently did Baaghi, a biopic of the late internet sensation Qandeel Baloch and brought forward Baloch’s human side.
Saba’s portrayal of Qandeel, made people not only sympathize with her but know her for what she was and what choices she was forced to make.
