Naila Kiani has become the second Pakistani woman to scale Mount Everest!

Kiani — a mother of two, a boxer, and a banker in Dubai, summitted Mount Everest on Sunday.

According to details, Kiani reached Everest’s pinnacle, scaling up to 8,849 meters, at 8:02 am on Sunday.

She also became the first non-Nepalese climber to summit the peak named after Sir George Everest in 1865.

As reported, Naila Kiani is the only Pakistani woman to scale five eight-thousanders — which now includes Mount Everest as well — within a span of two years.

Prior to this, she summited Annapurna I in Nepal, K2, and Gasherbrum I and II.

And now she now aims to scale 8,516m high Lhotse, the fourth tallest mountain during her current visit to Nepal.

Kiani was among the two Pakistani mountaineers who were rescued on their way down to Mount Annapurna last month.
