Burj Khalifa lights up with image of New Zealand premier Jacinda Ardern

Ever since the Christchurch mosque attacks in New Zealand that claimed 50 innocent Muslim’s, the empathy and support from all over New Zealand and the stance of the country’s prime minister Jacinda Ardern has been noteworthy. The way the NZ premier has not only handled the situation but also united her nation in the face of terror is exemplary. The world is praising Jacinda Ardern’s leadership and her support for Muslims of New Zealand.

Following the two minutes silence that New Zealand observed to mark a week to the Christchurch martyrs, the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa in Dubai was lit up with the image of the New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern.

The ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, thanked Arden for her sincere empathy following the attack and her undying support.

“New Zealand today fell silent in honour of the mosque attacks’ martyrs. Thank you PM @jacindaardern and New Zealand for your sincere empathy and support that has won the respect of the 1.5 billion Muslims after the terrorist attack that shook the Muslim community around the world,” wrote His Highness Sheikh Mohammad with an image of the world’s talent building lit up with the image of the NZ premier on his Twitter.
