Punjab reports 102 more coronavirus cases taking the tally to 1,918.
Out of 1929 tests conducted today, 425 new positive cases were confirmed.
666 patients are in different districts, 536 are in Tableeghi Jama’ats’ quarantines, 49 in Camp Jail quarantine, 213 in DGK, 449 in Multan & 5 in Faisalabad quarantine. 8 patients are in critical condition, reported CM Punjab Usman Buzdar.
Details of Punjab’s coronavirus cases per district are as follows:
LHR 293, Nankana 13, Kasur 8, RWP 58, Jhelum 30, GRW 32, Sialkot 17, Narowal 6, Gujrat 93, Hafizabad 6, MBD 14, Multan 4, Vehari 13, FSD 21, Chiniot 6, TTS 2, RYK 3, Sargodha 6, Mianwali 3, BWN 9, BWP 3, Lodhran 3, DGK 18 and Layyah, SKP, Attock, Khushab & Okara 1.
“Punjab has 1,918 #COVID19 cases so far. We now have the capacity to perform 3,100 tests/day and 8 more labs are in pipeline, that will take our capacity to 5000/day
We believe that early detection and isolation is our best bet to contain the virus & we will keep working towards that”, said Usman Buzdar in a tweet.
