Parineeti Chopra who has previously worked with Ali Zafar in Kill Dil does not approve of the ban on Pakistani artists in India. She wishes she could work with Ali again and, in fact, finds it sad that only Pakistani artists have been banned. “I wish I could work with Ali again.”
She emphasised on the fact that once these two countries were one, so we’re really not that different. “When you meet us, you will never know Ali is from a different country until he tells you.” The Namaste England star also wishes to work with Fawad Khan.
“I wish I could work with Fawad. He would be such a great hero in our industry. He is so loved here.”
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti opened up regarding the discrimination against Pakistani artists in India. Their movie, Namaste England features songs by Pakistani singers and they feel that Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan were only chosen purely based on talent.
“I don’t think the audience is ever going to judge a song based on the nationality of the singer,” said Arjun.
