Veteran Actor Afzal Ahmed passes away in Lahore

Veteran actor Afzal Ahmed passed away in Lahore on Friday after prolonged illness.

Its heartbreaking to learn from what the legendary Pakistani actor suffered in his final moments. 

He passed away in poverty after being paralyzed for the past 18 years.

As reported, he was brought to Jinnah Hospital Lahore after suffering a brain hemorrhage and was put in bed with another patient in general ward.

The administration of the Lahore General Hospital confirmed his death on Friday afternoon.

The golden age of Pakistani cinema saw Afzal Ahmed in his prime. A well dressed, versatile actor with unique dialogue delivery won hearts of many.

He was best known for his outstanding performances in films, TV dramas and as well as theatre.

He has around 200 films and dramas to his credit.

Afzaal Ahmad made debut of his acting career in the 1970s with the film Dhiyan Namanian.

His best works include in International Gorillay (1990), Aakhri Muqabala (1977) and Jatt in London (1981).

He also had appeared in super hit films including, Sharif Badmaash, Vahshi Jutt, Chen Wariam, Revenge of Oppression and more.
