‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Live-Action Series in Works With ‘John Wick’ Writer Derek Kolstad

A live-action series based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe in works being developed by ‘John Wick’ writer Derek Kolstad.
It must be a piece of good news for all the nerds and game fans out there!
As being reported, Paramount and Hasbro’s filmed entertainment studio, eOne, are in the casting stages of a live-action Dungeons & Dragons feature film.
Meanwhile, Chris Pine is reported to be in negotiations to play the lead in Paramount and eOne’s upcoming film adaptation of the popular fantasy role-playing game.
Furthermore, Hasbro/eOne is developing a television series based on the fantasy role-playing game.
So far three “D&D” films have been made between 2000 to 2012.
“Dungeons and Dragons” was first adapted into a film for New Line Cinema in 2000. The film starred Justin Whalin, Marlon Wayans, and Jeremy Irons and unfortunately was a critical and commercial flop.
