The Legend of Maula Jatt makes history with the Taurus World Stunt Award nomination

The Taurus World Stunt Awards are a yearly celebration of the achievements of stunt performers from film industries across the world.

Legend of Maula Jatt achieves another historic milestone for Pakistani Cinema!

Bilal Lashari’s blockbuster film has been nominated for the Taurus World Stunt Award for its final nail-biting fight scene between Maula and Noori – played by Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi.

TLOMJ’s action stunts were coordinated by Ian Van Temperley.

The film will be competing against Oscar nominees Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Gray Man, amongst others.

Past winners in this category include titles such as ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ ‘Kingsman,’ ‘Fast & Furious 6,’ ‘Inception,’ and ‘The Avengers,’ to name just a few.

The Taurus World Stunt Awards is a yearly award ceremony held midyear in Los Angeles, that honors stunt performers in movies.

TLOMJ was released on 13th October 2022 globally in 25 different territories with over 500 screens making it one of the biggest releases of Pakistan.

Directed by Bilal Lahsari and produced by Ammara Hikmat, Legend of Maula Jatt is the highest-grossing film from the subcontinent in the past four years.

It was also the highest-grossing Punjabi film of all time at the global box office in the fourth week of its release.
