A new Evil Dead film is in the works with Francis Galluppi to direct it.
Good news for horror film fans has arrived! After the announcement of a spin-off of the Evil Dead franchise, we learn that a new film is also in the works.
It was announced earlier this year that acclaimed director Sébastien Vanicek would be directing a new Evil Dead spin-off aiming for a 2025 release.
Galluppi is set to make his feature film debut with ‘The Last Stop in Yuma County’, releasing on May 10, 2024.
Details about the plot and other production members of the new film are yet to be disclosed.
Meanwhile, Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert are to produce the next Evil Dead film.
As reported by Deadline, Galluppi brought the idea of a new film to Sam Raimi and Ghost House Pictures.
And Raimi who directed the original Evil Dead trilogy and produced recent films, praised Galluppi’s storytelling skills and ability to build tension.
The “Evil Dead” franchise features several films released over the years. Here are the release dates for the main films:
