YouTuber Yasir Shami’s bailable arrest warrants issued in late Aamir Liaquat’s leaked video case

Court of Judicial Magistrate Karachi issued arrest warrants for the YouTuber as he defied repeated summons.

YouTuber Yasir Shami is booked in late Aamir Liaquat’s leaked video case.

The former first wife of late showbiz personality turned politician Aamir Liaquat Hussain in a social media post on Thursday shared the latest development in the leaked videos case.

Syeda Bushra Iqbal shared a copy of the court’s order in a post on X, saying, “The Court of Judicial Magistrate Karachi has issued a bailable Warrant of Arrest against the Accused and Absconder YouTuber Yasir Shami in Cyber Crime Aamir Liaquat(Late) Obscene Video Leak Case. Waiting for FIA to arrest Yasir Shami and present him before the court.”

 

Taking it to Instagram, Bushra Iqbal shared further details about the case. She wrote: 

“Now there are two accused involved in this case;


1. Dania Malik (for making, displaying and transmitting and leaked the obscene video of Aamir Liaquat)

2. Yasir Shami (acquired the obscene video from Dania Malik, in return she got money from him and then he displayed the video on his YouTube channel Daily Pakistan and then it became viral).

“Waiting for FIA to arrest Yasir Shami and present him before the court to execute the court orders. In sha Allah Aamir Liaquat will get justice soon,” she added.

However, later in the day, a Karachi court granted bail to YouTuber Yasir Shami in Dr Aamir Liaquat’s video leak case against Rs500,000 surety bonds.

The court ordered Yasir to appear before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to record his statement.

The court issued arrest warrants for the Youtuber as he defied repeated summons.

As reported, Dania Shah, the prime accused of leaking Aamir Liaquat’s videos who is on bail, also showed up at the court. 

Meanwhile, the witnesses recorded their statements before the court.
