Pakistani singer Omer Nadeem accuses Sonu Nigam of plagiarising his ‘Aye Khuda’ in new song ‘Sun Zara’

Pakistani singer Omer Nadeem accused popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam of plagiarising ‘Aye Khuda’ in new song ‘Sun Zara’!

Indian singer Sonu Nigam released his new song in collaboration with DJ Sheizwood and Kamaal R Khan (popularly known as KRK) for T-Series on December 2.

In an Instagram post, Omer Nadeem urged Sonu Nigam to acknowledge the original track.

“I’ve reached a point in my life where I couldn’t care less about these things. But hey, if you’re going to do it, at least toss a little credit to the original track,” Nadeem wrote in the caption of a video post revealing the contrasts between the two songs.

Alleging appropriation, Omer Nadeem also stressed the disparity in quality between the two versions.

“If you’re going to pull this off, you could’ve done it with some finesse. Huge fan of Sonu Nigam, but let’s be real, this is light years away from the real deal,” he added.

Nadeem Omar also shared the same thoughts on X-Plateform, formerly Twitter.

The music video for ‘Sun Zara’ within two days has already garnered 1.9 million views, while Nadeem’s original song has 537,000 views on YouTube.
