It all started as the celebrity singer turned activist after watching a viral clip vowed to help these kids.
On August 11, he posted a video of a group of children playing music with empty cans and sought for leads to find them.
And luckily the mission was accomplished, but these kids are all grown up now.
As the video clip that went viral has turned out to be 10 years old!
Last month, Shehzad Roy had also corrected Anupam Kher over the same video as the Bollywood actor claimed it for being from India.
Sir @AnupamPKher Thanks for sharing the video I shared a few days back. You say that these talented kids are from Bharat, a humble correction, these kids are in fact from Hunza, Pakistan. I am in touch with them and have sent them all the musical instruments they need. https://t.co/KBxzEIFBvV
