Bernie Sanders Drops Out of Presidential Race, Trump to Face Joe Biden Now

Socialist-Democrat Bernie Sanders who gave Hillary Clinton a run for her money I 2016 presidential candidate race for Democratic party has withdrawn out of the 2020 race to support the nomination of Obama’s vice Joe Biden. Concluding that ‘this battle for Democratic nomination would not be successful’ Sanders suspended his campaign for Biden who came out as a top choice for party voters.

“Vice president Biden will be the nominee,” said Sanders as he congratulated Biden and termed him as, “a very decent man, who I will work with to move our progressive ideas forward.”

Biden, on the other hand, accepted Sanders’s support and called him “a good man, a great leader, and one of the most powerful voices for change in our country.”

Now the strongest candidate for Democrats on the presidential race with a leading position in primaries and favorite of all delegates who choose nominees, Biden urged voters of Sanders to join his campaign as he goes against President Donald Trump in the upcoming elections.

“I see you, I hear you, and I understand the urgency of what it is we have to get done in this country,” Biden said in a statement to Sanders’ supporters. “I hope you will join us. You are more than welcome. You’re needed.”
