IHC reserves verdict on PTI chief Imran Khan’s petitions pertaining to Toshakhana trial
IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq reserved judgment after hearing the arguments presented by both parties
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) reserved its verdict on a set of petitions filed by PTI Chairman Imran Khan pertaining to the Toshakhana trial on Thursday.
The reserved decision is expected to be announced tomorrow (Friday, Aug 4).
IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq reserved judgment after hearing the arguments presented by both parties.
IHC Chief Justice reserved the decision on eight petitions related to the PTI chairman Imran Khan.
PTI chief had filed these applications in the IHC after a trial court last month declared the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) reference against him was maintainable.
IHC tomorrow’s hearing will also determine if the move to reinstate the right to defense can be heard in the trial court.
Additionally, the court’s decision on the request to transfer the case of the PTI chairman to another court will also be made.
