Imam-e-Kaaba was left in tears as he prayed for Palestine after Friday’s sermon at Masjid-e-Haram.

Sheikh Usaamah Khayaat had to pause in the middle of the prayer as his voice choked up.

“O Allah Protect Masjid Al Aqsa!” Sheikh Usaamah Khayaat prayed, “O Allah, Safeguard the Muslims in Palestine. O Allah, Protect them from in front, from behind, from their right, and from their left.”

“And we seek refuge in Your mighty presence that they may not be assassinated from beneath them. O Allah, be their supporter, their helper, their advocate, and their rescuer.”

“O Allah, assist the Muslims in Palestine as their supporter, their protector, their advocate, and their rescuer. O Allah, be with the Muslims in Palestine as their supporter, their protector, their advocate, and their rescuer.”

“Be with the Muslims in Bilad al-Shaam. O Allah, be with the Muslims in Bilad al-Shaam, all of them, as their supporter, their protector, their advocate, and their rescuer. O Allah have mercy on their weakness. O Allah have mercy on their weakness and have mercy on their martyrs.”

On Friday, more than one million residents of Gaza City were given warning by the Israeli military to evacuate and move to the south in the next 24 hours.

The development comes as the Israel Defense Forces are pounding the Gaza Strip from the air and are gearing up for a potential ground offensive with tanks and more than 300,000 reservists.

The Israeli military said it would operate “significantly” in Gaza City in the coming days and civilians would only be able to return when another announcement was made.
