JUI-F’s Hafiz Hamdullah survives gun attack on his convoy in Chaman
Hamdullah was travelling from Chaman to Quetta when the incident took place.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) senior leader Hafiz Hamdullah survived a gun attack on his convoy en route to Chaman on Wednesday evening.
According to the party secretary, Hamdullah was travelling from Chaman to Quetta when unidentified assailants opened fire on his car.
His vehicle came under attack in the Maizai Adda area.
The party’s provincial information secretary, Dilawar Kakar, said that the JUI-F leader’s guards responded to the firing upon which the attackers fled from the scene.
The incident comes hours after at least 28 people lost their lives in two separate attacks carried out earlier in the day in Balochistan.
JUI-F’s senior leader has been the target of the terrorists.
He earlier served an assassination attempt a few months ago.
