Pakistan announces 16-player squad for Sri Lanka Test series
Aamir Jamal and Mohammad Huraira earn their maiden call-up to Pakistan's Test squad for the Sri Lanka series
Pakistan on Saturday announced a 16-player squad for the Sri Lanka Test series.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Selector Haroon Rashid announced the team for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka which will be played next month.
PCB has included uncapped batter Mohammad Huraira in the squad.
While Shaheen Afridi also makes a comeback to the squad.
All-rounder Aamer Jamal has been given a maiden call-up. He was the best fast bowler in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2022-23 with 31 wickets in nine games.

The team will assemble in Karachi on July 3 for a camp ahead of their departure for Sri Lanka on July 9.
The itinerary of the tour will be announced by Sri Lanka Cricket in due course.
