PTI expels Usman Buzdar, Khusro Bakhtiar and 20 other leaders from party

PTI has asked these now-terminated members to “refrain” from using the party’s name and warned that if the advice is not heeded then they will face legal action.

PTI expelled former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar, ex-federal minister Khusro Bakhtiar, and 20 other leaders from the party!

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has terminated the basic membership of 22 leaders who had jumped off the ship after the May 9 mayhem.

PTI secretary general Omar Ayub Khan through a letter issued on July 31, notified the leaders of their termination of membership.

Here’s the list of 22 leaders kicked out from PTI:

  1. Usman Buzdar
  2. Khusro Bakhtiar
  3. Syed Nadeem Zaman Shah
  4. Syed Muhammad Asghar Shah
  5. Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari
  6. Salman Khan Gadoka
  7. Sabeen Gul
  8. Raja Muhammad Saleem
  9. Bahawal Khan Abbasi
  10. Muhammad Zaheer ud Din Khan Alizai
  11. Muhammad Saleem Akhtar Labar
  12. Muhammad Farooq Azam Malik
  13. Muhammad Akhtar Malik
  14. Muhammad Afzal
  15. Mohiyuddin Solangi
  16. Mian Tariq Abdullah
  17. Mian Shafi Muhammad
  18. Makhdoom Afqar ul Hassan
  19. Javed Akhtar Ansari
  20. Ehtisham ul Haq Laleka
  21. Ehsan ul Haque Chaudhary
  22. Akram Kanu

Furthermore, PTI has asked these now-terminated members to “refrain” from using the party’s name and warned that if the advice is not heeded then they will face legal action.

 

Many of the former PTI leaders have joined the newly-formed Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), led by the senior politician Jahangir Tareen
