ACC announces a reserve day for Pakistan vs India Super-4 clash
If poor weather disrupts the match on 10th September, it will continue on 11th September.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced a reserve day for the much anticipated Pakistan vs. India Super-4 clash in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.
The arch-rivals will face each other on September 10, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
And in case, if the match is not completed due to rain then the match will continue on September 11 from the point it was suspended on September 10.
However, the ACC is being slammed for announcing a reserve day for only the Inda-Pakistan match.
Pakistan and India have always been put together in the same group in ICC events and for the 3rd consecutive time in the Asia Cup.
The cricketing body ACC is already under criticism for continuing to hold the Super Four matches in Colombo despite rain predictions.
A multi-nation tournament deserves a reserve day for each of the Super 4 games not just Indo-Pak.
No rocket science there

Pak-Ind to have a reserve day while other teams (Bangla & SL) don't get one is absolutely shameful & unfair. Global cricket is a mess because BCCI is a bully that's more powerful than ICC, while all other boards watch in silence

Ridiculous decision to have a reserve day for just India v Pak game. It's like saying other teams don't matter.
Either have it for all matches or don't have it for any (except final).
And right now, the only place in Sri Lanka where is not threatening to rain is inside the…

Some reports claiming that there will be a reserve day only for the game between India & Pakistan scheduled on 10th SEPT. If it turns out true, then it is just shameful for cricket.
They used to indirectly give us the direction that the broadcasters only care about IND-PAK in…

ACC President Jay Shah has made a mockery of the Asia Cup 2023.
Despite the thundershower prediction, Jay Shah decided to hold all the Super Four matches in Colombo instead of Hambantota.
