Arslan Ash continues to bring glory, wins ‘Uprising Korea 2023’ Tekken tournament

The 27-year-old is the only player in the world to win the prestigious event four times in Tekken 7.

Arslan Ash continues to bring glory by winning the ‘Uprising Korea 2023’ Tekken tournament!

In the grand final on Sunday, Tekken 7 legend Arslan “Ash” Siddique defeated his South Korean opponent Galgonge by 3-0.

Following the win, Arslan took to X-platform, thanking God for his first win in South Korea.

Alhamdulilah I was able to take the #Uprising2023 Challenger event in Korea. This win is special as I was able to win in Korea on my first time here with many of the top players,” he wrote.

Earlier, he had lost to Galgonge 3-2 after a close encounter.

After which Arslan had to play the Losers Final against Varrel Pinya which he won 3-1 and qualified for the grand final, where he once again, faced Galgonge.

If Galgonge had won the grand final against Arslan he would have emerged as champion but Arslan gave him a tough fight and beat him 3-1 in a one-sided grand final.

However, as Galgonge had won the winners’ final against Arslan in the previous round, he was given another chance and the two once again had a face-off in the grand final reset.

Arslan triumphed over fellow countryman Atif Khan 2-1 in the Winners’ semi-final earlier in the tournament.

The 27-year-old is the only player in the world to win the prestigious event four times in Tekken 7.

He won the title in Japan and Las Vegas in 2019 and repeated the same feat this year as well.
