Hockey World Cup 2018 Opening Ceremony

The Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 has kicked off with a grand opening ceremony at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar, India. The opening ceremony was grand, many artists including Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and AR Rahman performed on the stage.

Shah Rukh Khan narrated his dialogue from Chak De! India. Madhuri Dixit’s performance was phenomenal, while the music maestro AR Rahman sung his hit songs including Dil Se, Humma Humma, Maa Tujhe Salaam.

16 teams are participating in this year’s hockey world cup event. Pakistan will be playing its first match against Germany on 1st December.
