ICC announces World Cup 2023 schedule
The World Cup kicks off on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The cricket body announced the match schedule for the most anticipated event ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 to be played in India.
The event will kick off on October 5 when England will take on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Pakistan will begin their World Cup campaign with a match against Qualifier 1 in Hyderabad on October 6.
Pakistan’s first two matches in the event will be against qualifiers on October 6 and 12, respectively.
Meanwhile, the arch-rivals India and Pakistan will lock horns on October 15 in Ahmedabad.
Australia will take on South Africa on October 13 in Lucknow.
Here is the fixtures list for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, which will be played at 10 venues of the mega event that will span 46 days later this year.

October 12 – vs Qualifier in Hyderabad
October 15 – vs India in Ahmedabad
October 20 – vs Australia in Bengaluru
October 23 – vs Afghanistan in Chennai
October 27 – vs South Africa in Chennai
October 31 – vs Bangladesh in Kolkata
November 5 – vs New Zealand Bengaluru
November 12 – vs England in Kolkata
The first eight of the total ten teams have already qualified through the Cricket World Cup Super League. The final two spots will be determined at the end of the Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe, which concludes on July 9.
Each team plays the other nine in a round-robin format with the top four qualifying for the knockout stage and semi-finals.
