Novak Djokovic and Wife Jelena Test Negative for Coronavirus
Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena have negative for coronavirus after a week’s ordeal.
They both tested positive for coronavirus following Djokovic’s exhibition tournament in the Balkans last week.
According to an official statement released on Thursday, neither the 33-year-old player or his partner felt any symptoms.
As being reported, the couple had been self-isolating since returning to Belgrade from Zadar in Croatia, the town which hosted the second leg of Djokovic’s ill-fated Adria Tour.
The top-ranked Serb was the fourth player to test positive for the virus after first playing in Belgrade and then again in Zadar, Croatia.
His coach Goran Ivanisevic also contracted Covid-19.
Djokovic has been facing criticism for organizing the tournament and bringing in players from other countries amid the coronavirus pandemic.
