Pakistan beat India 2-1 in the men’s squash team event securing a spot in the semi-finals of the Asian Games 2023.

Pakistan’s Noor Zaman displayed resilience and determination, ultimately triumphing over his Indian counterpart Abhay Singh in a grueling 51-minute contest.
Noor Zaman won by 8-11, 12-10, 8-11, and 8-11.
In the second game, Pakistan’s Asim Khan outclassed India’s Saurav Ghosal. Asim Khan showcased exceptional skills, beating his Indian opponent with a score of 3-0.
However, Saurav Ghosal brought India back into the game by defeating Muhammad Amir Khan by 3-0.
The Pakistani squash player barely stood a chance against his Indian counterpart. Saurav dominated all three games, not allowing his arch-rival to get used to the pace of the match.
He took away the game within a blink of an eye and brought the game back on level terms with a 3-0 victory (11-3, 11-5, 11-1).
Pakistan has won 2-1 against India in the men's team squash event.

Pakistan will now face Kuwait in the final group match on Thursday.
Prior to this crucial victory against India in the ongoing Asain Games, Pakistan had also secured convincing wins against Singapore, Nepal, and Qatar
