Pakistan has won the Asia Cup Youth Scrabble Championship by defeating India!

Pakistan’s Hisham Hadi Khan became the Asian champion once again in the Youth Scrabble Championship held in New Delhi, India.

Hisham Hadi Khan successfully defended his title defeating India’s Madhav Gopal Kumath in the final.

Reaching the final round of the 3-day event, Hisham Hadi Khan took the lead from the second day of play and his two-day score. It was 1420.

In the team championship, Pakistan’s Monis Khan also scored a high East individual score of 760 against a Malaysian player.

60 players from 11 countries competed in this year’s Asian Championship.

Pakistan had 6 players in the top ten spots. Champion Hisham Hadi Khan stood first, India’s Madhav Gopal Kamath second and Affan Salman third.

Apart from this, Pakistan’s Monis Khan won the U-16 title and Ahmed Salman won the U-12 title.
